Begin your full-day exploration of Hanoi at 8:00 AM with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum (closed on Mon & Fri), his stilt house, Presidential Palace, and museum. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, home to the ancient stone tortoises believed to bring luck.
In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology to learn about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. End the day with a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter and a visit to Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake.
